The word ‘franchise’ doesn’t need to be a negative word. When and where did the word ‘franchise’ go wrong? Franchising is based on a marketing concept which can be adopted by an organization as a strategy for business expansion. Where implemented, a franchisor licenses its know-how, procedures, intellectual property, use of its business model, brand, and rights to sell its branded products and services to a franchisee. A great business model for an individual to start or expand off of a successful business. The franchise model can be a great opportunity for both parties, the franchisee and the franchisor. Win win.
Ironically many brands you see day-to-day are franchises but you would have never known. When creating Inside Stories, we wanted the word ‘franchise’ to be part of our brand and story. We want the word to be acceptable again in the business world. We are a franchise and it’s a great opportunity for driven interior designers, business entrepreneurs, or current interior design business owners looking to join an amazing company.
Because we are a franchise, we want to showcase 3 franchises that we aspire to grow into here at Inside Stories.
